What is Base64?
Base64 encoding allows you to represent (binary) data using only a limited, common-subset of the available characters, far more efficiently than just writing a string of 1s and 0s as ASCII for example.
Why Use Base64?
Base64 encoding schemes can be used when we need to encode binary data that goes through a process of storage or transferred over media that are designed to deal with textual data. We use Base64 Encoding to ensure that the data remains intact and without modification during transport.
