SQL Escape

Escape a value for use inside a single-quoted SQL string online, doubling quotes for standard SQL or using MySQL's backslash escapes.

How to use it

Paste a value to escape it for a quick manual query: standard mode turns ' into '', MySQL mode also escapes backslashes and line breaks. In application code use prepared statements with bound parameters instead, which is the proper fix for SQL injection.
